11 horses have nominated to take part in the 14-horse capacity Champagne Stakes at Moonee Valley this Friday, September 30, 2011.

The Group 3 Champagne Stakes is worth $150,000 in prize money and is run over a distance of 1,200 metres.

The race, which takes place on one of the busiest weekends on the horse racing calendar, is open to three-year-old fillies only.
